Frequently asked questionsQ. I have bespoke requirements, can you help? A. This is exactly what we do, boxes made to order. Our account management staff will understand your requirements and advise a unique cost effective solution that suits your packaging needs and budget. Q. Can you manufacture small and large quantities? A. No problem. From making samples and one off prototypes, small runs through to long volume runs, we have modern efficient machinery set up to handle both ends of the market place. Q. My packaging requirements change from day to day, do you offer stockholding? A. Yes, we are experienced in 'Just In Time' deliveries or a managed stock 'Call-Off' system relieving you of your valuable warehouse space and associated costs. Q. I sometimes get let down by my supplier, can you prevent us running out of boxes? A. We are manufacturers and therefore we have complete control of the production process. We also have 4 manufacturing sites in East Anglia and, although specialised in their own right, all have overlapping capabilities. This ensures that we can switch production rapidly in the event of a breakdown. In addition, we have access to 12 corrugators operated by five different suppliers, which means that we can overcome any problems in the supply chain by switching supplier. Q. I need to reduce my packaging spend. How can you help? A. We are extremely good at analysing customers requirements and pack performance. Once we have completed a packaging survey of your business we can suggest alternative materials, styles or packaging methods to reduce your costs, thereby postively influencing your bottom line. Q. It is imperative I get real customer service, not just in the beginning, but will you look after us moving forward? A. Definitely. Most of our clients are long term customers who treat us as an extension of their business, forming a strong partnership for the future. Q. I buy plenty of conventional regular boxes, but some of my products need to be of a high quality glossy print, can you supply specialised display packaging ? A. Yes, we have a specialist site within the group dedicated to Point-Of-Sale/Point-Of-Purchase displays. They will even pack your product into the display unit and distribute out to your customers. Q. We are a food manufacturer, do you have Food Hygeine Accreditation? A. Yes. We have been accredited with the BRC/IoP Global Standard for Food Packaging and Other Packaging Materials (Category A) since 2003. Our registration number is QAICL/UK/BRC/152. We have a long history supplying food grade packaging to the food and drinks industry. Q. My company has a central purchasing department with many delivery locations, can you deliver to all the sites across the UK? A. We will deliver across the UK, operating our own fleet of vehicles and working in partnership with a national courier to meet your delivery requirements. Q. Our company has an environmental policy only to use recycled materials from sustainable sources, can you supply on this basis? A. Where suitable we will recommend materials that have already been recycled, however if any kraft materials are required you can be assured we buy from suppliers of managed softwood forests that are certified as sustainable. All of our materials are 100% recyclable and fully biodegradable. |
